Tell us about the Times Two blog?
Alyse: We wanted to base the blog around Adelaide as we feel like most fashion bloggers base their blogs on themselves and what they are wearing. Yes, we do also do that, but we do try and make our followers aware on what is hip and happening around Adelaide and most importantly showcasing Adelaide talent. Whether it be at a seminar, event or runaway show it is all about what Adelaideans can do. There is so much potential in Adelaide and we feel like it gets forgotten or put to the side and not worried about.
Cimon: It is a blog that looks at everything Adelaide (and ourselves have to offer) such as fashion, events and lifestyle! And we are always trying our new bars and restaurants.
What inspired you to start your blog?
Alyse: Last year we both decided to take a turn in our careers. Cimon was offered the job at the Sunday Mail and I decided she was going to start her own business. Since the both of us have not only worked hard, but found it hard for anyone to really put us out there.. we thought we would do it ourselves. We honestly didn’t think that It would be where it is now. We thought we would do it for a little bit of fun and it has been such an amazing and rewarding experience.
What’s most likely to trigger a post from you? If Alyse has anything to do with it, it will definitely be some form of food post. She just loves finding new places and eating her way around Adelaide. Anything from Cimon will be fashion related. We both love what we do and we want to share it with everyone, so 90% of the time it will be a post of the Sunday mail, fashion shoots or events in which we have been involved in.
Cimon: My sister // we are both so creative in our own way and have always wanted to work together it is the start of something for sure.
What do you think makes a good blog?
Alyse: A good blog is short, sharp and simple.
Cimon: Being relatable and having your own style that you want to share and inspire others with.
What’s the one thing you want the reader to take away from your blog?
Alyse: We want our readers and followers to be inspired by what we do. We love to help people and help others create their dreams. At the end of the day, we are two sisters who love what we do and enjoy the fact that we get to do it all together.
